If you would like to reserve a kid from a particular breeding, please let us know and you will be notified as soon as babies arrive .
We do not require deposits on kids to be placed on a reserve. We prefer our prospective goat families to visit our farm to see the available kids (or view photos) before making a final decision. Once a commitment is made to buy an animal, we ask for half the purchase price  as a non-refundable deposit within seven days  signing a sales agreement. The goat(s) will be held until weaned or for up to one month while shipping arrangements and payments are worked out, with shipping costs, (ie. health certificates and tests), the responsibility of the buyer. If goat(s) is /are not picked up (unless prior arrangements have been made), boarding fees of $5 per day will be applied. If not picked up within 60 days, the goat(s) will remain the property of October Hill Farm..
Breeder reserves the right to issue doe-only service memos at our discretion on bred animals.Do to issues surrounding disease we cannot take back an animal that has been exposed to goats that have not been tested. If proof can be provided we would gladly take a goat back.

Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. If attending a show in our area, goat(s) will be transported for free. If arrangements are made to attend a show closer to or in your area - there will be a reasonable transportation fee that will mutually agreed upon. All shipping fees and fees for health certificates including any testing required for the State where the goat is to be shipped will be the responsibility of the buyer. To check the animal importation requirements for your State, go to the USDA APHIS Veterinary Services web site. You can either send us your shipping crate or we can purchase a suitable crate at your expense. Health certificates with no additional tests are $35. We ship out of Bradley International Airport.
If another airport is to be used (Boston or New York) there will be an additional $50 fee.

We prefer to dam raise our kids, although we will bottle feed babies at the buyer's request.
Prices for show/breeding quality animals usually range from $150 (wethers) to $500.
Discounts will be  given for multiple purchases and to children participating in 4H. 4H verification required.
Along with the purchase of an October Hill goat we will provide you with a manual and on going support.
Directions:
From the mass.pike, take exit 7 (Ludlow-Belchertown). Take the right, go a short distance and you will see Randall's fruit market, take the left right after it. Rood St. Go straight for sometime, it will end with a stop sign,  take a right onto West St. go a short distance, take first right as your coming down the hill, Brook St. go to stop sign, take a left that is Taylor St, follow to Fox Meadow farm, take a right, that is still Taylor St. keep going I am number 49. We are only 10 minutes from the pike
